From a Small Kitchen to Port Washington's Favorite Wings

East coast wings started in 2015 when founder Marcus Cole decided to turn a family recipe passed down by his grandmother into something the whole community could enjoy. Armed with a handful of signature sauces, a cast-iron skillet, and a passion for real flavor, Marcus opened the first East Coast Wings kitchen right on Main Street in Port Washington, NY.

"I wanted every person who walked through our door to feel like they were eating at a family cookout — bold, honest food made with love."

What began as a 10-seat spot quickly grew into a community staple. Today, East coast wings serves hundreds of guests daily, boasts over 20 signature sauces, and continues to honor the traditions and flavors that made it great — while constantly innovating to keep things fresh and exciting.

2015

The Doors Open

Marcus Cole opens the first East coast wings location on Main Street, Port Washington, NY — a cozy 10-seat kitchen built on family recipes and big dreams. The community falls in love immediately.

2017

First "Best Wings" Award

East coast wings wins the Long Island "Best Wings" award for the first time. The recognition brings new fans from across Nassau County and validates everything the team has been working toward.

2019

Expanded & Renovated

Growing demand leads to a full restaurant expansion — doubling seating capacity to 50, adding a full bar with craft beers, and launching our first online ordering system to serve the whole community.

2021

Delivery & Catering Launch

East coast wings launches island-wide delivery and full-service catering. From backyard BBQs to corporate events, our bold flavors now reach every corner of Long Island in style.

2023

Sauce Lab & 20+ Flavors

We open our in-house Sauce Lab, where our chefs develop and test new flavors year-round. Our lineup grows to 20+ signature sauces — from fan favorites to limited-edition seasonal specials loved by all.
